After just over twelve months as Business Development Manager at Foresight, Mark Speight has been promoted to the newly created role of General Manager.

Having been tasked with directing and managing Foresight’s business activities, Mark is looking to develop and implement effective business strategies and programmes to help the business further its position as a leading expert witness provider. Focused on increasing new business and building long-term relationships with existing clients, Mark will also look to continuously improve staff productivity, service and case conversions whilst ensuring sustainability and meeting the objectives of the business.

Created to ensure all functions within the business are working closely together to deliver a great experience for clients, the General Manager role will also see Mark continue to work with and support the Foresight team, helping them to grow and develop within their roles.

Joining Foresight in September 2019, Mark began his career in banking. Initially as a Financial Advisor and then moving into supporting SME’s. Mark developed a clear understanding of business financials and a passion for delivering great client care and building long lasting relationships; both he believes are key to a business achieving its goals. Moving from finance, Mark then began a role as Business Development Manager for The Sheriff’s Office which again required relationship building and a clear strategic plan, a role in which he excelled.

The experience Mark has developed in building relationships and delivering excellent customer care will no doubt go a long way in ensuring Foresight continue to not only meet but exceed all client expectations.

When asked what he is hoping to achieve as General Manager, Mark explained, “My aim within my new role is simple: make Foresight the number one resource for sourcing an Expert Witness in the UK. We want to become known in the industry for delivering great customer service whilst building long lasting relationships with our clients and experts alike.”
